I usually give a huge thumps up to his Marshall mods but this sounds brittle AF to me. No body, thickness or warmth in the modded version.

Did not like the modded recto at all. Way too bright, thin, shrill etc... The stock one just needs the treble or presence turned up a bit.

Amp sounds epic. Really fat sounding mod, super beefy and tough. Yet it still has the Hermansson clarity and articulate nature his amps always deliver. Peel the volume back for a great clean, whoa, now there’s a novel idea. He is one of the few builders who get it. Perhaps it’s because he is the owner of the triumvirate of tone . With out those three essential ingredients you can never fully master the creation of epic tone.

I would have to hear it in person. Might hit different then but just judging by the clips I don't really like it. Sounds thin and shrill to me like there's too much Pre EQ involved to tighten it up but nothing was added back Post to give it some body whereas the stock recto seems to need some additional EQ tweaking because it sounds like it hides under a blanket which is a problem I usually don't have with rectos. I don't like them for different reasons.
