This would be the bomb. I love both channels and it would be awesome to use them both on the gig w/o changing the eq.

Get two modules is the only way. there's no way to fit 2 sets of EQs on the board. You'd be better served having 2 modules (even if it's just 2 single channel modules). If you have only have a Mod50, think about getting a E2 when it comes out! :)

I originally went with a single T/D for my Fendery clean sounds, but had the same problem. So instead of spending another $400 on a 2nd Egnater module, I bought two Randall modules, one Blackface and one Tweed. Sure the Egnater versions sound a little more refined, but having the separate EQ was much more beneficial too me. According to aeroic, you can still get Egnater single channel modules but you'll pay the dual channel $400 price for them. :(

I would order single channel versions of the Twin, Dlx, and Bman right now if they were priced right. I would even order TWO single channel VX's, one for cleans and one for dirty.

This plan is all fine and good, but not helpful for suckaz like me with a Mod50 and only 2 slots. :D

For Fender-ish clean sounds in a gig situation, I would still love to see an EG 1/2 module. To me, it's the perfect balance between pristine clean and a grittier clean with nice breakup that takes pedals well. Even though EG 1/2 share the EQ on my MICA 100, I never feel like I have to adjust the EQ when switching channels. I have the T/D in my M4 but really prefer the EG 1/2 channels in either my IE-4 and MICA 100...at least for gigs. Especially, the EG 2 channel in my IE-4 is just killer. Would still keep the T/D around for recording/practice when I need exactly those tones.

i diagree with klark some here. IMHO the dual channel twin, dlx, and vx modules don't have the issues the t/d has. I find those the Modules don't have the compromise. That the t and d channels have. I personally have had the twin dlx td bman and vx and the only one I felt had a compromise between cha and b was the td.

Sure this is possible. Use the mini knobs that are used for the volume and gain for the whole module. I'm sure they could all fit in there ;)

actually there isn't any more room on the pcb board. Both jeff and Bruce have stated this before. There is no room to put another eq signal chain on the pcb board and avoid things like oscillation and crosstalk and keep the noise levels low. The module size would have to increase to accomadate this.

Well sure, we could all buy the dual channel modules for $400 each, but for a lot of us, that's wasting money. Many of us don't need the extra channel, and ultimately don't want to spend the extra money on having it. The dual channel Egnater modules are $400, Randall modules are $209-$259, so it would be awesome if we could get single channel Egnater modules for around $300.

There's also the aesthetic issues as well.. The double-stacked set of small gain & volume knobs are unnecessary, so they're kinda in the way if we don't use them. I love the larger five knob layout!

I wasn't talking about cost. Only about tone. I Personally use both channels on all my modules. I personally like the duals more since I like having two gain settings per tone. That allows me to not have as man dirt boxes to get those in between tines. Only Dort box I've used lately is the bb preamp. If I didn't have dual channels I would have to have 2 m4s.

Hmm let me break out my soldering iron and see if it's possible............................................................ I keed I keed

I guess it's time for a E2 because I love the sound of the Twin and Deluxe channel. Throw a VX and DLX module in the E2 and I can cover all my gigs with one amp. Awesome

Will the E2 come with a new foot switch or will it reply on a separate midi pedal to switch between the modules?

I think there is supposed to be a new 8 button footswitch at NAMM this year. Maybe Hilly will chime in. All I know is I'm all over the E2 and footswitch.

Right, which is exactly what I do. I need eight tones, rather than 2 gain levels of only 4 tones. One dirt box, plus one clean boost box has been fine for me across all eight tones.

I wonder what the bassman eq does that Jeff did to Wilton's Twin. maybe it would make the 2 channels of the T/D work better together

right so the cost difference is minimal for 4 dual modules and one m4 or 2 m4s and a mix andmatch of singles and duals. I personally don't need more than four tones at a gig.
