Hi Guys

taking the oppourtunity to introduce myself and say hello to everyone in here ,and also to thank the mod's for allowing me to be on here Thanks.

basically jumped ship from Engl amps, been playing them for the last 8 years or so. but now sold my older fireball and placed an order in for the Diezel Einstein and quite exciting to hear what the Einstein can do .

anyways hope to get to know all u fine musicians a bit more over time , and participate a lot more on these forums .

Cheers

Russ

welcome! u will not be sorry...Engls a great amp...but its no Diezel!!!

Welcome!

It will be interesting to hear your comparrison of the Engl to the Diezel.

:2thumbsup: Good decision to come to the Diezel side...

Welcome and I can't wait to hear what you think of your soon-to-be new rig!

You picked a fantastic amp!

Out of curiousity, what made you switch the Engl stuff....

well to me a lot of the engl amps were very similar voiced esp in the high gain department ,don't get me wrong very good but slightly limiting.there build quality is superb but the interior of certain amps ie circuit boards were very basic to say the least, esp the fire & powerball.no easy bias features, everything had to be done from inside the amps internal board and theres no way you could mix tubes in the power stage .

im really looking forward to the diezel ,im sure its a step in the right dirrection for my playing and an amp that will give me a vaqriety of tones to keep everything sounding interesting.

yeah I LOVED the external bias feature on the Einstein. It's THE ONLY goddamn thing I don't like about my VH4, seriously.

Quite interested in seeing what you have to say about the Einstein, having only known you as a die-hard Engl guy. Welcome Russ. :)

Congrats on the einstein and Welcome to the Diezel Family.

Thanks Guys

will deff give a mini review when i get the einstein ,as ive said needed a change in direction musically and off course gear wise.
