Would be sick if you built some rack pre and post Diezel amps ;) I know I would go nuts LOL

I bring this to the studio and save my baby VH4S at home, but wish I had a Diezel VH4S or VH4 rack in there ;)

Do you have any videos/clips of that rig Sean? I'd like to hear it.

Hey Sean !

Sure would be nice, but first other new amps should be finished.

Please be patient.

Best,

Peter

I don´t konw how it sounds for real, but in the 2nd live vid, the Marshalls are better sounding. You can hear them better then your stuff.

I wasn't using the marshalls. I was using the rack.

Not you...  Your buddy with the wonderfull JEM. He´s using the Marshalls?!

True he was using a soldano head. He always uses it at rehearsal. Most of the guys at the ESP board of course prefer my tone, but then again, we all are biased in that we prefer EMG's and not passives (not all but many) :)

Watch the other vids, you'll see the soldano he is plugged into. ;)

It´s not much i would change if i were you. Only a little bit. Soldano???? ;)

Change what?

Yeah the studio has all amps in there already, so he always plugs into the Soldano on his side of the stage? What is with you baffled by the soldano? I am curious. I know nothing about them. Thanks

I would just bringt my VH4S in his case

Nah I have enough to lug to the studio in NYC. My rack, my GC pro, my Explorer or Les Paul....what ever flavor of the day it is LOL

I dont know....EQ settings? Gain? I can hear you, when you play alone. But when you two guys are playing at the same time, i cant hear you anymore. Only the JEM guy. Thats not nice. You have dreamequipment...you have to knock him down with your stuff! :m17:

I agree with Bato to some extent, it could be EQ'd a bit better so you won't get lost in the mix, but from hearing your tone and your other guitar player's tone, I can see that you're EQ'd darker and he's EQ'd abit brighter so both mesh well.....and it's a right on, but you need to add some more mids to your tone IMO

Oh yes, this is s.th. i didnt concider at all. In that case it´s ok if you are the rhythm guitar player. Your tone is rich, no doubt, but the soldano is cutting through. I suppose, that the soldano sounds a little thin when played alone but it fit´s perfect for the mix.
Am i right, that there´s no bass player?

Thanks for the feedback guys. It is more mic placement and amp volumes, for that night at least. I use a Zoom H$ and 2 SM57's on each side of the room both pointing in the opposite direction, and that night we did not do our usual mic check when our drummer stands in the middle and levels us out. Plus the goal is not to knock him down but to get em both same volume so we both can be heard and we compliment each other as we play different chords. and yeah still trying to find a bass player :(
