Had the pleasure of opening for him at the Roxy in Hollywood in the 90's, was an amazing experience, had him autograph my GP magazine!

Was soooooo excited to see him. Skerik / Critters Buggin opened for him and they were just next level... Holdsworth finally came on and by about the the 4th song we were bored to tears and actually split. It was so not even close to what I thought it was going to be. Same crew I was with (for context - all Univ Oregon music school guys ) saw Chick Correa's Electrik Band w/ Gamabale the week before and it was ridiculous. This was not the same experience.
