Not my channel, I just came across these clips in my YT feeds. How close did he get?

Hate to be that guy but with cell phone clips like that where it sounds like the phone is in the guy's pocket and he's in a bathroom somewhere, it's impossible to tell. That amp could sound like anything. What is there sounds pretty cool but beyond being vaguely high gain and maybe somewhat tight-ish, you really can't tell at all.

You'd have to play it to see...the C+ feel is very unique, and nothing I've played has even a vague resemblance to it. The clip sounds good though!

I agree with you guys.......I thought it sounded good as well. The dude even has the 6 band EQ installed in it.

It sounds better than those Myasnikov MKIIC+ preamps that were around a few years ago.

It sounds killer - damn. Maybe a little more modern sounding than the real thing but in a really nice way. Doesn't hurt that his playing is on point. Cool to see more guys go after that circuit

That second clip sounds like it kills. Hard to say but still 🤘

I like the tones of the amp a lot.

To ME, it doesn’t have the bite or singing sustain of my ‘84 60 watt IIC+ or my ‘84 Simul-Class loaded IIC+ combos .

I wonder how this compares to a Studio or Quad preamp.
