So happy taking my dmoll open air today despite the heat wave! From surf to jazzy tunes to rock and prog, I am not missing a thing, it always sounds great and is loads of fun to play! Way, way, way more than just a onetrick "metal box"!
That Ch1 clean and low-gain is just seriously gorgeous! Papa out-done himself! :worship:

And it gives the best feet rubs when you turn her up :D

Hell yeah.. LOve my Dmoll!
Love channel 2 with the gain about noon and the guitar volume rolled back for cleaner tones too!

Wie heiß war´s denn ?

Wir hatten hier 38 Grad Celsius. Mein schwarzes Auto
stand den ganzen Tag in der Sonne. Beim Einsteigen
hatte es innen gefühlte 1750 Grad :D

Please check out your treble bypass cap
on the volume pot. There is a small grade
between a good result on the clean/ crunch
channel and the distortion channels when you
roll off the volume.

There is no need for a treble bypass cap
for high gain channel users.

For medium gain players I would suggest
250pF for a 250k pot and 100pF for a
500k pot.

Of course depending on your guitar wood
and pickup choice.

Get an alnico for best tone and ceramic for
best attack.

Sorry if Papa is talking about stuff you
already know.

Na, Peter, perhaps you helped me in a different way...

On my VH4 I usually use to roll back the Guitar volumen on Ch4 (!) for kinda clean parts, because I have the Delay in the Insert!

But you can use nearly all channels on each Diezel I´ve played as clean, no problem! But of cause sometimes it sounds better or not, so I will take a look...

Um, lest we forget you're The Master.

We always learn from you ;)

3 Wetter Taft Diezel?
