Hey all!
I finally got it: my VH4s! Oh yeah!
Yes, I bought it used but thats alright cause nw Igot the blue (in the) face :D I like it!
Awesome!!! Awesome!!! Awesome!!!

Noow, I just need a new Cab (right now I'm playing through a 4x10 Trace Elliot Bass Cab) :loco:
Not the best choise...

Please help me....

I was thinking about gettin a Bogner Überkab, not because I tried or even heard it but I couldnt decide between V30s and some more agressive speakers like the G12T75s anyway, so when I heard about the Überkab it just looks like the right thing to me.

As an option I am also thinkin about a Soldano Cab (just because I like the sound of my little Astroverb) but I'm not sure if they put the same speakers in their 412???? and also about a Diezel Cab obviously, that raised the question:
Is it possible to get a Diezel Cab somewhat like the Überkab? What might be your choise? And if someone also knows about Soldano 412 Cabinets, how do they sound with a VH4(s)?

I ran a G12T-75 with a V30 in a 212 cab (non-Diezel cab though) with my VH4 for a while, and I ended up swapping the G12T-75 out for a V30 to make it a V30/V30 cab. IMO, the VH4 with all V30s sounds better than mixing them with the G12T-75.

+1 I ran my VH4 through my Ubercab and eventually took out the G12T75s and put V30s in there place. The Soldano cabs to me are a little boxy sounding. I think the Orange 4x12 is the best thing for any aggressive powerful amp. That's my next purchase. To answer your question, Diezel will make a cab with 2 V30s and 2 Diezel Speakers in an X pattern. They sound good, I'm just not a fan of the Diezel speakers. Rock on.......

Thanks for your opinions mates! I hear you. I may have to check some cabs somewhat live somewhere with a VH4 or just bring mine. Hm, I was thinkin bout testing the Orange Sound before but then quit the idea, now I dont know why... :dunno: Usually I like the orange sound, Ill give ot a try!!
Thinking baout a cab with only V30s I just fear a little lack of a little cutting heavyness, I mean that was the idea behind the G12T75s. But maybe its best to get to the first idea and a V30 loaded Cab first and then if theres something missing I might get another 212 Big Bottom thingy or s.th. Just fantasizing right now......

I had a VH4 for a while and had no issues doing brutally heavy stuff on my diezel rear-loaded v30 cab. I don't like V30's that much, but both my Herbert and VH4 sounded good through them. With some amps V30's get woofy and loose. I didn't find this to be much of a problem with my diezels. I think this is do to their tight low end.

Get a Diezel cab to run your blue VH4S head through. It will be the best match for the head.
And congradulations on such a great score!
