I'm already planning my E2 shopping, and although I'm pretty sure I'll go with the T/D + COD, I'd like to get an ERECT module too. So, how close to the real deal?

IDK, since rectos all sound a little different.
FWIW, I only really liked the erect with active pickups.
I bought it in my first round of modules. I held out for a couple of years, and then realized I only liked it for rhythms, and I liked the EG5 and SL2X more for rhythms.

It's stiff, tight, and heavy. Works wonderfully for double-tracking rhythms, combined with a more marshally flavor.

Much warmer and smoother than any Mesa I have ever owned. One of my favorites. Very easy to solo with. Sounds HUGE in a band mix. Also squishier than Mesas I have had, not as stiff.
