How do I know if my VH4 is now 110 or 220v?

I sent the amp to Peter, and it's now back home safe. He said he changed the audio and midi board. One of the things I requested was a voltage change.......it was a 220v Europe VH4 and I wanted it as a 110V for America because I'm taking the amp with me to America and I don't trust using it over there with a converter. I would be using it here in the meantime with a converter (newly 110v to 220 converter)

But Peter has not replied still, I'm sure he's very busy in Frankfurt, so, how can I verify if it's been changed? If I plug the amp to the wall socket here (220) and the amp has indeed been changed, will it damage the amp?

I wanna play this badboy and I'm afraid Peter won't be able to respond for a few days....

Close shot of the left side of the power transformer (pots facing you, the tranny on the left) and I'll tell you.
There's a hole in the board where you can see the transformer solder lugs - I need to see those.

PM the pic please . . .

damn Olaf, I'm gonna wait for Peter response then hehehehe It's a goddamn pain in the ass to get the VH4 out of the headshell.....

Would't you mind asking him for me when you see him at Frankfurt show? I'm sure you'll get in here before him prob. :)

If it has been converted and you plug it in here you will very likely damage the amp.

Yup guess so, that's why I asked here first. I already sent Peter an e-mail yesterday, but I'm sure is got more than his hands full with Frankfurt

thank you Sir. Lets hope he answers my e-mail tomorrow. another day without playing my newly improved VH4! :aww:

He's sitting here next to me WANTING TO BE PLAYED! :D

no idea if it can be known that way. I'm a total noob when it comes to this type of stuff.

I'd rather wait before frying my VH4
