How do I wire the stereo EMG jack with passive pick ups?

The place I get my hardware from has my mono input jacks on back order.

Can I use the existing stereo jack on my guitar with passive pickups?
I would think so but I dont know how to wire it.

Sleeve is ground no matter, but just try both tips and see what gives you signal. I.e, the cable from the pot chassis goes to the sleeve, the cable from the middle lug goes to ONE of the tips HTH

Yeah, it should work no problem. Most Ibanez's ship with stereo output jacks, even on their passive guits.
