Ok I've owned my Herbert for over a year now and toyed with the chanel configurations. I started running the traditional Clean (ch1), Rythmn (ch2)and Solo (ch3) lay out. Now I Like Accoustic clean (ch1), Rock Clean crunch(ch2) I spend most of my time on ch 3 with the guitar volume rolled back or to taste. If I need extra volume for solos I use the second master. No midcut.
Seems most people like ch2 best, personally I like ch 3. I think I could live with this channel alone.
How do you run yours?

Same, clean, crunch, metal/leads for me, mid cuts on clean and I have a distorted 'metal/lead' mid cut preset too just for when it suits.

as i mostly play metal only (at least in a band situation) i use 99% of the time Channel 3. sometimes, depending on what cab is there as backline, i tend to use Channel 2+ with heavy gain settings with my passive-loaded guitar. with actives only Channel 3.

I like it in the "power off" position. Sounds really smooth to my ears that way :D

Is that because you live in a small van down by the river?

All out, all over the place - never miss any channel and let it rip just like ol' Herbert like to be whipped!!!

Why, is there anything wrong with that?
