I own a Renegade and love the tone I'm getting from it. How long have y'all been gigging with yours? Any troubles?

Been playing out with it for about a month and a half with no issues other than the fan and the reverb which have been addressed on this board. Fan is fixed. Bruce is working on the reverb but keeping the channel volume down does seem to help that issue.

I love the amp. It sounds better in the mix than it does by itself, and it sounds great by itself!

I have been gigging with the Renegade for almost a year now!! LOVE IT!!!! I run my channel volume around noon and have not had the reverb issue that some of the other owners have had. Our sound guy love the direct out on the head. We mic the cab and use the direct out. Then he pans one left and one right. It sounds HUGE!!!

i've been gigging with mine for a few months now and i love. i've had no troubles with it at all.

Thanks for the replies! I always have to build trust with any new equipment. So far this thing is unbelievable.

My first gig with my Renegade 410 was New Year's Eve 2009 so it's been 6 months. I have used the Renegade indoors and outdoors (last Friday night at the Sandy Music Festival in Sandy, Oregon) and it hasn't had a single problem! It has been working and sounding great and I have absolutely no complaints!

As a matter of fact, since January I have had an opportunity to pick up both Renegade 112 AND Renegade 212 combos (both of them damaged in shipment and non-working when I first got them) so my Renegade collection can now be spread across 3 different models. They all sound different (because of the speaker configuration, type of speakers and the cabinet differences) but they all share the same vibe, feature set and reliability.

I tend to prefer the 410 and 212 because of their beefier presentation (more speakers, better dispersion). The 112 doesn't seem to speak with the same authority and is essentially a single point-source of sound. The 112 doesn't have a footprint that is much smaller than the other two so it takes up almost as much floor space. I could almost replace the grill-board and make a compact diagonal 212 out of it (like the Bogner Alchemist 2x12).

The Renegades are my current "go to" amps since they are versatile enough to cover a wide variety of music styles and powerful enough to play outdoor/larger gigs. The only exception to my "go to" list is for small clubs where I use my awesome Rebel 30 1x12 in a stack configuration with its matching cab for a very small footprint!
