My theory is that at these price points now, many folks are getting into tube amps for the first time and really don't know/understand them. So understanably so, they are upset when something goes "wrong" and they don't know what is going on or how to fix it. Most of us have been around the block with the tubes and know how to trouble shoot. Consequently, you are going to hear more of the "My amp broke" posts because they don't know how to trouble shoot/swap tubes. Just my theory anyway.
Yeah most likely, but I guess I have heard more about the rebel 30 then any issues with the renegade, and even tourmaster. So just makes me wonder if something is helping trigger tube failure, have heard reports of peoples amps being down more then once. Not writing off the 30 though.
