How many of us are seriously going to get the Renegade?

So, all of us our stoked for the Renegade to finally arrive. I'm sure some are just thinking about checking it out with no intention to buy. Others are seriously considering it.

Who's 99% or 100% they are going to buy it?

I have already squirreled away enough cash for the Renegade head and the 2x12 cab. I have my favorite Guitar Center employee on lookout for these to arrive. I have given him my cell phone # and assured him that I want to buy the first one that shows up. Unless this thing disappoints it will be my new gigging setup.
Based on feedback from those at NAMM that played it, this thing should prove to be a friggin' beast!!! I'm like a 5 year old kid waiting for Xmas, Easter, my birthday and the last day of school to arrive all at once!!

It is DEFINANTLY a possibility at this moment, I'm down to this or a small boogie head off ebay.

As for Boogies, I'm curious about the Roadster. And eventually, I'd like to own a Single or Dual Recto. But, pricewise I think the Renegade is the winner. Plus, it matches my 2x12 TM cab. :)

Ya know, sometimes things happen for a reason...

When I bought my Mod50 in '07, I got it with the Eggy 2-12 cab. A while after they came out, I picked up a GC TM 4-12 cab, just out of curiosity. Well, I loved the TM 4-12, decided top keep it, and sell the 2-12 EGGY. I never got around to advertiseing it...

Fast Forward...the Renegade is announced.....so I says to myself, "Hmmmm, let's keep both cabs and get a Renegade to sit atop the 2-12 EGGY".

Brilliant!

That's my plan and I'm stickin' to it.

Cheers from KC

Hmm, I really wanna try it with that 4x10 cab option. I think 10s are the new 12s

If you have a Mod 50, you all think a Renegade head is worth it or is it redundant? I like the ability to mix power tubes though! Huge feature, and second master for a solo boost. Plus, the ability to record out! Is it USA made?

Some of the Renegade clips I hear remind me of a Bogner. Nice job guys.

I personally dont think the tones are that different that youd need both, unless you want to leave one at a rehearsal space or something. Its like Acura and Honda. MOD 50 is the Acura and the Renegade is the Honda. Both are priced for two completely different markets and kill in the market they are aimed for.

Totally agree with Matt!!

I won't be getting one, but if I wasn't already this immersed in the Modular series, I'd definitely get one. It's the amp I'll recommend to anyone looking for killer tone at a lower price for sure!
