How much is a fair price to ask for my mint 4x12 strait rectifier standard? Any ideas?

mint?

well, imho id do $650, buy takes care of shipping arrangments.

with buy it now including shipping set it at 899.99

of course theres 2 models right now on ebay going for $250 and the other is $450, while another model is 1,000 but it includes an ATA case, doesnt include shipping costs.

so id say 899.99 with shipping or $650 - $700 without

just my opinion, not saying its exact. just what i would do though.

If it is dead mint....yeah $650 is good, otherwise I see them go used form $500 on up.

Dead mint, don't say like new as I didn't check every detail, but could be.
So I guess 600-650 local cash would be fair?

Oh yeah...for like new. If someone got it for $550 that would be a score!! So I wouldn't waiver that low unless you need funds asap.

"Mint" is, by definition, "like new".
But I also remember seeing them go for around that amount :)

(To me, mint isn`t important, but if you`d put it on Ebay as "mint", and an asshole of dimensions found a small scuff, you could risk getting negative rep etc etc etc..)

Anyone looking for a near mint Traditional Slant cab, in an ATA roadcase? God I don't even want to think how much shipping would be on that!

I paid $550 for mine shipped. Fairly worn though... Or should I say, "well broken in"?

If you were local, I'd give you 600/650 in a heartbeat.

Thanks, it's good to know. Looks like I need to go back I give a lot of negative feedback now :D

When I say near mint, I mean that 1 or 2 of the screws on the back plate has a bit of surface rust on it, it's as clean as can be. I have a roadcased head and cab (both ~"mint") that I don't really "need" anymore and I've been struggling with the decision to offload. I no longer gig out, and don't think I have the drive to do it again anytime soon. On top of that, a wedding looming early next year means extra money is needed! I just don't want to regret getting rid of this, as I LOVE this amp but it hasn't been turned on more than 4 times in the past year.

I paid 375 for what I'd consider a mint Recto cab back in '04. The price for a new one then was 899 at the local GC.
