How to evaluate a headstock repair?

I need some education on headstock/neck repairs. What do you guys look for when you are trying to gauge the quality of a neck repair when the headstock was snapped off? If you have owned a guitar with a repair, what has your post-repair experience been?

I need some education on headstock/neck repairs. What do you guys look for when you are trying to gauge the quality of a neck repair when the headstock was snapped off? If you have owned a guitar with a repair, what has your post-repair experience been?

I have a 2004 Midnight Manhattan Les Paul Standard that the headstock has been snapped off on. Guitar plays like a dream just like when it was brand new. It was repaired by Gibson and they did a flawless job. Really absolutely no difference in the guitar.
