How to PM someone

Help,

I'm a newb here and browsing the classifieds and have found I can't reply to post or Pm someone?

I read you have to have 50 posts to reply in the classifieds but either I'm a stoopid "which is highly possible," because I can't figure out how to PM someone or I'm just not allowed at this time.

Is there somewhere stating the board rules so I can figure out what to do?

OK.. let the flaming of my stupidity begin...... :D
 
If you click on the members name it should say "Contact" all the way to the left about mid screen down and there should be PM button.
I am not sure if you need a certain amount of posts to do this though.

I/m in the market for some new gear but it seems I can't contact any of the sellers...lol.

Like right now I can't click on your name...

If I try to copy and paste it into a new message in my profile it says i'm not authorized and need to participate in the forum more...

What exactly are the rules?
 
50 posts min. To pm and post ads on classifieds. If you know someone here they could contact the seller for you, but you'd need to know them, know them.

That stinks but I guess I understand.....

The buttons "Profile" "PM" and "Email" should appear at the bottom of the thread window. Click the one that says "PM"

what I'm saying is the "PM" button shown in the above post ^^^^^^^^ is not available on mine..

I can only see "profile" and "email"

I can see the pm you sent me 92lx50 but I can't even reply to that!

it says "You need to be more active on the forum before you can use this feature"

Can you click on the user name through this page?

If you can't access it that way, try clicking "Members" at the top of the page and look up the seller and see if you can PM him that way.

maybe they thought I was spam...I know my wife thinks that sometimes...lol

Shit, you'll almost get 50 posts from this crapfest as it is. Just reply to every one of us idiots who participate and Bob's your Uncle, you're there. I can't wait to see what other gold spews forth once you have enough to buy or sell something. Or will we ever hear from you again after that?
 
How about just hanging out and get to know people and let people get to know you? It's kind of the purpose of the 50 Post rule. Too many people come here just to dump their shit and don't bother to participate in anything else.

I plan on being an active member here...

I still think it sucks for the sellers though because they are missing out on many potential buyers.

I feel your pain.

It's annoying when someone PM's you and you can't PM them back lol.

I could get 50 posts in a day on some other forums, but on here it takes a while because it's not super active. I feel like I'd seem like a crazy person if the last posts of all the threads on the first page were from me.
