How well are Bogners made? Of course they are.

I ask this question because I had an odd conversation with a guy I know. He said the reason Bogners are fizzy (he was referring to the 20th Shiva at the time) is because they are made so poorly, not much better quality or tone than a Peavey. Right then and there I knew this guy had a few screws loose. This guy had said quite a few other things that left me scratching my head. He was sort of a head case, but I thought this one took the cake! LOL.

You know better. They are very high quality. Thick through holed boards. Quality components. The 20th Ecstacy is all high end caps. Qaulity chassis. transformers, and headshells. They are not fizzy either and fizz would not have much to do with build quality. It would be more about the circuit design and component values, not about the quality so much. The guy has his head up his ass and doesn't know what he's talking about.

I had a Peavey Valveking, and I can tell you that the quality of my Uberschall is so, so much better. :)

Maybe he's comparing to the Alchemist series or something?

He's just a un-informed moron to make that statement, that is all.....
I will say their chassis could be tougher, I have 2 20ths and both chassis got bent up during shipment. But as to what is in these things, ever look at the transformers in a Peavy?
