Since Tube Mix is set per channel and not global on the Renegade, I am wondering how it will work with the E2?? When I am running a module in the E2 and bypassing the preamp sections of the Renegade, how will I control which set of power tubes is being used??

it's whichever channel you have selected since the renegade preamp is bypassed when the e2 is on

Good question. The answer is not obvious. When you are using the external preamp (E2) the tube mix controls are still active. This means that even when using the E2, the TUBE MIX knob Renegade channel that is selected will still be functional.

Very cool. So basically when using a module in the E2, the channel select switch on the Renegade becomes a "power tube select" switch if you have each channel set on diff tubes? Nice.
