Welcome!

3 questions for you if you don't mind.

1) How long did you play before the 37 year hiatus?
2) Why did you have a 37 year hiatus?
3) What inspired you to play again?

Noodled around from 17-18-19, I was racing cars and got busy with life so after pawning my Gibson V for my girlfriends birthday I was a broke young guy I quit playing.

Last year I tore my proximal long tendon in my left bicep completely off. Two surgeries lots of pain.

I figured as part of my rehab I started playing again to sync my left and right hand with my brain, get the touch back in my left hand.

My hand is doing great, it was a good idea to start playing.

I'm guessing

He's saying he loves rig talk, but the endless EVH posts do get a bit exhausting

However, new guy will probably find a bunch of cool EVH info even if it drives @RaceU4her and I insane
I promise I like Steve Morse, Albert Lee, Allan Holdsworth, Chet Atkins, ect

Man, sad to hear about the V

The one that got away
Actually she is a good lady, I should have kept them both, both were gems.

That V was really cool, Gibson remade me a new guitar in the custom shop. My V 83 had a finish issue, the body was still a little wet when applied the finish, it crinkled over a few months, I called Gibson spoke to the head of the custom shop, sent the guitar in thinking the would refinish it. Nope they made a brand new one, it was badass. Gibson rocked on that customer service issue.
