I just ordered one of these from GC. Used the TAXDAY code and got $100 off. I have been looking at low wattage amps for a while and was trolling to pick up a Tweaker cheap but the H&K has some killer features that I just could not resist. Red Box out,Power soak,FX, Loop,2 channels.I hope it lives up to expectations. Anyone have one??

Yes! Nice little amp and enough to take on stage if necessary

yea I liked the Blackstar 5 watt but it can't hang with a band and the 20 and 30 watt amps that can hang are kind of loud for the bedroom. The power soak kind of gives you both with the 18 watt and 5 watt setting.

How much did you end up paying total? I saw them at Hello Music the other day for $499 I think?

They seem to be $599 everywhere. It was $499 with the discount.

Yeah, I think the Hello Music deal was $499 +15 for shipping if I'm not mistaken. Those amps sound cool from the vids I've seen. I always dug the Red Box tone to a board as well.

I have one for a couple of months now and it's stellar! Sounds incredibly huge, have and will definitely gig with it again. Features are amazing as well. Power soak (love the 1W setting), fx loop, foot switchable, gain boost on OD channel is yummy thick. Love the compactness. I should build my live rig around this thing: would be incredibly easy to move around and set up.

Apparently Guitar Center decided to start shipping tube amps via freight (you know, tractor trailers?) Due to FedEx and UPS damaging to much. And now I find out the freight company lost my amp. What a bummer.
