Hi,

I've noticed that when my vh4 is on, there's a hum in the head...it's not in the audio path, the hum comes from the inside of the head....is it a normal behaviour...?

yeah i noticed the same thing... i was tracking in the studio the other day and my head was with me in the control room, and the cabinets were outside in the drum room - it almost sounded like there was a pair of headphones inside the head amplifying the guitar signal - a sort of buzzy version of what i was playing...

is this normal?

I don't know...I've always played with the head up on the cab so I'can't tell if when I play the sound of what I'm playing goes out from the head...I can just say that when the head is on, without playing, there's a hum comin'out from the head (not from the cab...)...I suppose it's the transformer noise...but is this normal...?
