Hey I've got this Am. ash Strat that's bright with the stock Tex-mex S. Coils and Diamondback humbucker. So bright I run the neck and bridge tone on 6 or 7 usually.
I've pretty much settled on the V60LP's for the neck and middle pups. They seeem smoother than most and don't seem like they add to much top end. I don't need highs with this strat. Single coils for Hendrix, SRV, whatever cleaner licks, etc.

Which humbucker will work best? The DSV, DSV+,or DSH.
Used with Marshalls, NMV and MV JMP, JCM 800, Jubilee, DSL, Friedman Kitchen Sink modded JMP, MkIIc+.
Humbucker for AIC, Metallica, Atreyu, VH, Greenday, RHCP, Eagles, Bad Co., Led Zep, any current rock, etc. No death or nu metal.
I've had a JB I liked except for the piercing highs on high fret single note leads. That's about as hot as I'd want.
