maybe because you have that 2150...and that's the be all end all power amp!

Yeah, but the Rivera TBR's are the same quality with a totally different sound/vibe. Dark, but still Modern. Amazing. Plus, the TBR's will take pretty much any power tube, unlike the 2150 which only takes kt88 or 6550.
The Rivera stuff is MUCH easier to work on, BTW.
Oh, and it's about $300 less than a VHT.

Id say neutral. nice for A/B ing tubes or switching tubes to match modules. Has lots of balls and your Density / presence controls. I bought a second one if that means anything. Best amp I have used but I havent gotten a VHT to compare it to. Waiting on Eric to do that for us.

You have an extra to part with for a couple days! Only thing that is interesting to me about the RT2/50...is that the tubes can be changed w/o yanking it out of the rack. That and it's MIDI, which is really cool.
I'd be curious to know if Jeff / Bruce would recommend any mods or upgrades to make it more "Eggie" than Randall.

Well I run in stereo 100% of the time except when I record. So I'd would run things spread. That'd be an interesting way to record that's for sure! 6550s and E34L's. Would be cool for rhythms and such.

If it didn't weigh so much and you lived closer I would. It is just sitting un hooked in my rack since I got the Mod50. The other RT is run in stereo (matching tubes)for my wet from the slave out on the Mod50. Cant wait to run the RM100nater that way. Hell now I have 3 more empty slots, Hmmmm MHG, and ???? any new module Egnater comes out with this year.
