I am looking for a multiple guitar foot switch

What I am looking for is something I can plug 4 guitars into (6 in the future) with one output to a Fractal FM3 and then direct into the PA and have full control via a foot switch. I have been looking at a lot of places but when they mention loops, MIDI and not a mention of instruments. Someone steer me straight. What do I need that is basic and simple.

Are you planning on running a setup with four guitars (six in the future) playing all at the same time? If so, I'd just buy something like a Behringer RX1602 Unpowered Mixer and plug the guitars into the inputs, and the FM3 into the output.

If you're not going to use multiple guitars at once, just unplug and replug a cable like normal, that's pretty much the best way to do it. If you're performing live and switching between a lot of guitars, I'd recommend setting up some kind of mute switch so you don't hear the plugging and unplugging.

Multiple guitars will be on stage when I'm playing. I want to be able to put one in the stand, pickup another guitar, stomp a foot switch and go. Something really simple with no electronics, just simple switches with LED indicators (9V battery or PS). Anything out there? BTW, I am working hard to distill my equipment needs down to the bare minimums, Im getting old. :)

I would just get one of those cables that has the kill switch on it ...... unplug the guitar ( no sound of it .. cause you used the kill/mute button ) put the guitar down ... pick up the next guitar ... plug it in .... take thumb off the mute/kill button ... ready to go ....

something like this ...

That is one way. It might be worth trying. Thanks. BTW, I am very familiar with anti squawk cable ends. Your idea would minimize cable clutter. Hmmm .....?

Go wireless. Several transmitters connecting to one receiver. Simple, turn on whichever guitar is in your hands, just like the pros do!

"QUESTION
I'm wanting to get into the wireless guitar realm. The only problem is that my band uses two different tunings for playing live. After reading through your site I realized that I can get two transmitters (one for each guitar) and use them both on one receiver as long as I don't use both at the same time. My question is: "Is there a package that I can get a 2 high quality transmitters and one receiver?" If not, what is the best way to go about getting a compatible second transmitter?
ANSWER
No problem! Simply buy the guitar wireless system of your choice and ask your Shure dealer to order a second transmitter on the same frequency.

Any Shure transmitter can be purchased alone; it does not have to be part of a system. Make certain to also order an additional cable to connect your second guitar to the second transmitter.

Finally, never forget that two transmitters on the same frequency must not be powered up at the same time. Though no damage will occur, the audio quality will be very poor."
