Doctor Love
I live an hour from the PRS factory. I own a PRS Custom 24 personally. I've been through the factory multiple times. I've been hugged by Paul Reed Smith himself, multiple times. I've hung out with Jack Higginbotham. Yet I've never demoed a PRS guitar for the channel. Thanks to my friends and partners at zZounds, now I get to finally demo a PRS! It's a PRS SE, which I've never played, also a bonus. Now, the PRS NF3 SE wasn't made in Maryland, so I can't vouch for the factory, but I can tell you I was really pleasantly surprised. I wanted to hate this guitar with it's strange pickups and wannabe Strat vibe but I actually really loved this one! Almost bought it, in fact.
So come check out the new PRS NF3 SE with me!
Celebrate Mediocrity and have a great weekend!

Anyone else see the irony in that only by import models can PRS Make Affordable Guitars Again?

well those pesky American workers want a living wage unlike those workers in China, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam,...

at least Fender gives you a choice, Fender MIM by Mexicans in Mexico, or Fender USA made in USA by Mexicans... :D

besides, Paul has bills to pay

I played a PRS SE back in the 90s and couldn't believe how solid it was. I've never played an American PRS.

Watched part of the video and got sidetracked. I think it’s a sharp fiddle. Good review as always Alan! Will it scratch the strat itch? Jc…

Forgot to mention, I love the finish on that guitar with the orange contrasting against the pale blond maple neck. What's it called? DJT burst?

I think it could. It definitely has that DNA but there's something that's hard to describe about the pickups. The feel and playability was fantastic!
