I couldn't put the guitar down. I was in a trance, hooked.

I'm really liking the JJ ECC803 high gain in the V1 of the module.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

I really needed this mod.

I can't stop thinking about it.

I'm trying to find other amps/preamps that have similar pregain tonestacks.

Mine should be here in a day or so. I'm hoping for the same experience with it.

You'll love it.

Don't be afraid to do crazy settings like

bass noon
mids dimed
treble zero

I have no fear! You should see how I run the EG5.

This is so true. With my Strat, I can run the treble at 0 and the distortion is soooo smooth. I usually run it at 9:00 though so I can get a nice warm clean on A. Still smooth on B though, especially with my SG. It's amazing how wide the gain structure is on this one. Like the Bman and VX, you could play a gig all night on it. Nice work Gentleman.

COD really pushes you as a player! It can get a pleasing brightness to it too, to the point where you think it should start be harsh but never gets there. Definitely some magic in that one.

I got my COD yesterday and spent a good hour or so with it. It is a very complex tone. I really dig the overall sound though. I find it is a great match in the MOD 50 with the EG3/4. Super smooth tones all the way across the gain range. It also took an old MXR micro amp booster in front very well. I have to spend a lot more time with it to really figure it out, but on first impressions, it's a keeper.

I think the COD my be the most versatile module I have. It sounds great with all of my guitars, even at extreme EQ settings and gains. I'm amazed at how much difference there is in gain between the channels. How do they do that? I can put channels A's gain barely on and get a nice warm clean that's great for rhythm and even clean solo's, and then dime the gain on channel B and it just sustains and sings. But it's lead tone is very clear and articulate, even with the full gain. No fuzz.

Here's another thing: The EQ is powerful. Mids are really musical, especially distorted, and you can even cut them out and it still works. The treble pot acts like my Mesa Mark IV's, where the gain seems to increase when I boost it. It's cool - so many sounds in one module. Don't be afraid to go nuts with the EQ. Fun stuff.
