i love the amp,it blows away the peavey versions i have owned.channel 1 goes from a great clean sound to a nice breakup.channel 2 is what suprised me the most.to my ears it voiced like a early superlead (which was a basscircuit with an added cap on the volume pot,not like the later split cathode .68 circuit)it has about the same amount of gain as the early superlead so you have to dig into those strings to get the sound, you really have to work for it.the awsome part is if you roll the volume back on the guitar it really cleans up nice.this channel really blends in when playing the old VH to the albums playing in the background.i think they really nailed it with this channel....channel 3 takes off where channel 2 stops with more gain and i hear a tad bit more low mids maybe due to having more gain on tap.the amp is very warm and really doesnt have the harshness i find on other highgain amps i have owned.i played my 5150 clone guitar with voodoo 59 and used the weber pre rola greenbacks.i have to say its the best highgain amp i have played in a while...here is aquick clip i made of channel 2.
