Who the fuck knows. But as of right now it seems to be done in time for the next NYC hang. But lots can happen. I just hired Chuck Rainey to track the bass for the Ford cover. So that one will be in the can.
I'm tracking the tune Czajkowski is producing and thathas about two weeks to go.
The thing with SubD has the Brecker Brother keyboard dued putting his parts down, and then it needs a couple of trumpet things.
The thing with Weckl is done.
...a couple of the new ones will have Dave Simpson's guitar to be oput on...

Well lets put it like that...I'm guessing any one can hire any one when the price is right. However when you're not made of money and you really just calling in favours etc you need an in.

Question...just out of curiosity, are you tracking the majority of the parts with these guys and just flying in some of the parts, or are the majority of the parts "telecommuted"? For the parts that are coming at you long distance, are you guys just shuffling the files back and forth via ftp, snail-mail? If ftp, what sample rate do you guys do this at? Thanks, and best of luck with this project. I remember hearing a trio thing you posted with Weckl a month or so ago, and it sounded great!
