I just bought an Ultra Lead

I've been gassing for a clx, but I've always wanted to try a newer UL. There was a 2006 w/eq on ebay with a 1800 bin including shipping. Jem7vwh started a thread on hc about one w/out the eq and I guess one thing led to another.

I've had 2 older ULs and 2 classics, but this will be my first newer model and my first with the eq.

The UK was tiring...basically went from meal to meal ...to brewery tour...to next meal.... with a little work in between. Vacation was fantastic - except...now I have poison ivy from the waist down...and have to take that stupid prednazone that makes it impossible to get any sleep.

I think the one I had was a 2000 or 2001. Shortly after that the KT88/ 6l6 switch was dropped and then a couple years ago the non EQ models were dropped. I don't know if there were any other revisions. Last I talked to Steve, he mentioned he may revise the switching abit.
