NOW THAT MAYBE I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION .

JUST WONDERING I AM GENERALLY A WAH AND OVERDRIVE ONLY GUY RIGHT IN FRON OFF THE AMP.
YET I AM TEMPTED TO RUN A MXR KFK 10 BAND EQ IN MY LOOP.
THE MANUAL SAYS TO RUN 100% WET ON THE EFFECTS UNIT, BUT WHAT SLIDER IS THAT AND I HAVE GAIN, VOLUME, AND THE BASS LOW AND MID SLIDERS. OR DOES THAT MEAN I NEED TO TUNR THE KNOB ON THE EINSTEIN UP 100%?
I have tried to a/b with THE EQ IN THE LOOP, BUT WHEN THE EEQ GOES IN THE LOOP I SWWEAR MY AMP VOLUME DOUBLES, AND THEN WHEN I TAKE IT OFF TO (B) THE AMP I AM DEAF....SO REALLY HARD TO TELL IF THERE IS ANY TONAL DIFFERENCE OR JUST A VOLUME BOOST..

I RUN THE EQ WITH A MID BOOST LIKE AN FROWN ON A FACE , I GET A MID PUCH THAT WILL CUT YOUR THROAT, BUT SOME NOTES ARENT AS CLEAR AS OTHERS.

MY MAIN QUESTION IS WHERE TO PLACE THE KNOB FOR THE LOOP ON THE BACK OF THE EINSTEIN 50% 100% OR TO TASTE, BUT I WANT OT AVOID ANY KIND OF PHASE CANCELLATION. I WILL ALSO BE RUNNING A TREMOLO.

I USE A 2 CRYBABY WAHS A ZAKK WYLDE AND A ORIGINAL/ A DUNLOP ROTOVIBE, AND A BOSS SD1 OD WITH THE LEVEL MAX AND THE VAIN AT ABOUT 9AM ON THE CLOCK. THE TONE STRAIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. GREAT BOOST WITHOUT COMPROMISING TONE WITH FEEDBACK AND WHITE NOISE.

I DO HAVE ACCESS TO A ISP DECIMATOR PEDAL. AND ALSO WONDERING SHOULD I RUN THHAT IN THE LOOP OR IN FRONT OF THE AMP IFF I CHOOSE TO USE IT. SOMTIMES IT SEEMS, LIKE IT DOESNT WORK THAT WELL AND I STILL GET NOISE OR THE THRESHOLD CUTS TOO QUICK.

JUST A LITTLE INPUT WOULD B APPRECIATED...

THANKS MUCH
jd

Had the same "problem". This is how to tackle it:
"when using a diezel, the high quality parallel loop should be used for delays, reverbs, etc. crank all the effects to 100% wet, and keep the mix knob around 8:30. This renders very little alteration of the original amp tone while keeping the effects nice and present in the mix."
-

Thanx to forum member ajharris1215 - check topic delay

not the opposite? mix knob at 100% and adjusting the output of the pedal?

for 8:30 you mean less than 25 % right?

Sorry bout all the Caps, New to forum lifestyle so still learning the etiquette.

Ok, first thanks to all who gave their input. I am still left confused. I understand that there is not literally going to be a "wet" knob on my stomp boxes, my whole issue is where do I set the Diezel parallel loop knob? all the way up?

So then set the output of my effect down so it doesnt jump the volume so much, I mean if i uses the Diezel at full volume(not that i do) but then connect the loop it seems as if goes to friggin "11" man.

this is my current set up hope this helps.
Guitar----Wah--Rotovibe--boss SD1 (setting level max, gain 9am position tone center left)----Einstein..
I want to use the KFK10 EQ and place it in the loop as it adds a bone crusing bang to the sound, set pretty ,much as a frown ...^^^... style for mid boost the gain and volume are at the default setting.

Where's the "wet" setting on an eq???

I may seem retarded to some, but I used to just play and only dream of having nice gear as a Young PUP cause i couldnt afford it. Now I have a Kick ARse job as an adult and can afford but my attention span is equivelant to a "gnat" and i get frustrated when i dont hear or get instant gratification from "boutique or expensive gear" that i spend my hard earned cash. Drive a Brown truck full of boxes...yep UPS and it sux, but it pays amazing...

sorry for the short story

The wet setting would be the intensity of the effect, but on an EQ, since it is only filtering the frequencies, there is none.
That only applies to reverbs, choruses etc..

nice ;)

yes, 25% or lower for ambient effects.

however, EQ's should be run it in the serial loop.
