I love it but BOSS Katana Combo is going back

I used the Katana 100 watt Gen 3 Artist combo at band practice today and sounded killer...with one exception. Everytime I stopped playing, there was this annoying feedback squeal and I wasn't going apeshit with the gain either. I had the gain at Noon or a bit lower with a boost and was just a bit much.

It really is a shame because the tones were outstanding and nice and full. The amp is so loud, it is mind blowing. I was on the 50 watt setting and knob was at like 10 o'clock, of that. Loud enough to hear over my drummer, etc.

I am sending it back and getting a second Orange Super Crush 100 so I can use some of my pedals in stereo. I have used my Orange at four gigs and sounds amazing. No squealing and nice chug. I think the BOSS Katana is a great amp but that squealing was annoying.

No, i don't have a computer at the moment so can't use the features of that. I read somewhere that someone dialed out that with eq, etc. in the editor. I've had so much success with the Orange Super Crush 100 that I felt like it wasn't a huge deal. I get great cleans and crunch with the Orange.

The new BOSS Katana amps are really impressive. Just something I didn't feel like dealing with out of the box. Maybe someday I'll revisit the Katanas.

Just hear me out. Before you send it back, just download the editing software and mess with it for a couple days. It's not just for amps, it's for fx too.

I hear ya man but i literally don't have a computer. I didn't mean handy, I don't own one, lol. My computer finally took a nosedive a few months ago and didn't get another one.
