I need to change the 1st input valve on my VH4, which one is

hi there, i'm new to this board, i had a quick search on this board but couldn't find an answer, i have owned my VH4 for about 3 years now and last week it started making odd noises (like the sound of cooking bacon) i phoned up the shop i bought it from and they said it was the first input valve that needed replacing so they sent one down, can anyone tell me which one is it please, i presume its the one on the left

any help would be appreciated
