first tight then i switch to the loose setting, you can hear how the bass fills out..I have the bass way down than what i ran it with EL34's.

Sounds good!
Sorta like getting a new CHANNEL on the amp right!?!

I was always swapping tubes on my amps......
Like the EL'34s these days.
Sounds good though!

It really did not make as much of a difference as it did when I installed them in my REV 2 Uber.
In that amp they tamed the high end fizz and made the low end tighter.
In the XTC the clean has more headroom now, not that it needed anymore. The high gain has more bottom end which is what I was after. :)

Sound good! I'm thinking of trying that next time a re-tube is needed. What speakers are in your 4x12?

Is it worth it? I have thought about this but really like my 101B as is with the Cameron Mod.

I had the cameron mod at one time and installed the marvel mod.
For me it was worth it, I dig the bigger low end.

Thanks guys. :)

I just recorded myself learning a new song....yet again with the red channel, I never loved the red channel so much...I think I like it as much if not a hair more than the blue now.

I love it!!!!

That song just totally brought back some awesome memories man...
