Hello everybody, I've been reading a lot about Diezel amps on this forum and unfortunately where I live there are none, so last week I was in Berlin with my wife and I thought it would be great to stop by Diezel workshop and check them out!!!

Peter and his wife are very nice people, they received us in their lab and shown all the Diezel production!

Fantastic, Peter explained me how he starts his projects from scratch to the final product. I have finally had a chance to try out the herbert, with the man himself tweaking knobs and explaining me about the sound that amp can produce!!!

Herbert is a monster amp… excellent cleans, thousands harmonics that seemed there was a chorus somewhere, channel two with the modalities - and + would be enough by itself and channel three is something amazing, more gain, sustain forever and an embarrassing definition…

I'm coming from marshall's, VHT's and mesas, but this is the holy grail, useless to say that I have to get one… :)

Very cool! Peter and his wife seem like they are top notch people. Always nice and willing to help. Probably the most player-involved builder there is.

That............ IS EPIC!!

Cherish that moment my Friend.........once in a lifetime!!

papa, someone has a sexy body wife!! :D

Peter's such a great guy. I'm going to Bad Stebben next time I'm in Germany FOR SURE

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

So you didn't pick up a Herbie at the gift shop after the tour?

Awwww. Those pictures are really sweet. And I love how neat everything looks. It looks like such a peaceful place to work.

I remember visiting the Matamp factory in the North of England in 2009, and it looked completely different. It was an old mill that basically remained an old mill.  They just started working in it, being loud and crazy, and making fantastic amplifiers. Still, Diezel, Matamp and Soldano are my favourite amplifier companies I've ever dealt with.

Anyway, it's wonderful to see all the factory and the family!

You can't pay enough money to get this kind of advertising. Remarkable the level of customer involvement. I hear business comments about seeing customers as people, not dollar signs. This is an amazing example of how a company should be.

That is so cool you actually had Peter Diezel show you how to dial the amp in. How can you not get one now?

What a great trip that must have been!
Oh how I would love to have the money and time to go visit Peter and his wife!

Sawaki was a former member of our Japanese distributor Moridaira.
She´s the best what I got in my life ................ and building the
Einstein and Schmidt for You guys !

She builds the Einstein and Schmidt? That's so cool. So if I bought a Schmidt, I could tell anyone that ever accuses me of being sexist (not that they do, I'm just having a laugh) that I own a very cool amp built by a lady?! :gethim:

What a wonderful opportunity! Kudo's to Peter and company for being so welcoming!

I never regret getting such a great amp and it's even more special when you see the humble beginnings behind it. And to think...I almost traded my Einstein for a Bogner. Thankfully, I found the Herbert!

Outstanding!

Seriously a fairy tale--two people come together to make amplifier magic. Congrats!!!

You were in Berlin and you thought to stop in Bad Steben? Or do you live in Austria?

I was there too. Two times. :cheers2: \:D/

Oh now i know whose signature (Sawa) is on the back panel of my Einstein.

My regards to Sawaki Peter!

Adios for now.
