I think I finally found THE guitar to go with my XTC Classic

I'm in the process of revamping my parts guitar that I built about 15 years ago. She's pretty much done with the exception of the neck pickup. I'm not sure what I'm going to get yet. But the bridge pickup is a Duncan distortion. This guitar is SUPER warm and the DD sounds perfect in it. I plugged her into the XTC and WHOA!! It sounds awesome!

The Duncan Distortion sounds killer in a warm guitar IMO.

Yeah that's the best pickup I've ever had in that guitar... I've been through like 10 of them... LOL!

Yup... It's usually "That fucking thing is too dark!" or "I can't find the right pickup to go in this guitar!"
