A brand with its reputation destroyed over the last decade come back and hike up to be one of the highest priced custom builders. I don’t get it.

I’m a huge fan of the shapes and honestly would consider one at 5k or so new as I’ve always wanted a custom rich. But good lord, this is insanity.

All the metal years dudes are late 50's early 60's with the disposable income so now instead of overpriced LP's being sold to boomers we have pointy guitars being sold to the hair band era guys. It's good marketing but you gotta be a real moron to blow ten grand on a new BC Rich. I'd just shop vintage.

I'm fine with the Jackson X series Rhoads; Duncans, neck thru with painted neck which I prefer; only weakness are the FR specials, but no issues yet, and just getting a few steel upgrade parts (insert blocks and screws) will help when the stock cheap parts wear out.

I was selling my original MIK Chuck Schuldiner B.C. Rich Stealth - which I purchased new in the early '00s; then they re-released it for less, no idea where it's made...so I'm keeping mine:

I suppose the Stealth is ok, but the other is hideous.

Wonder WHO'S Custom Shop?

Personally, I find it worse when people advertise their bronze series class axe as MIJ or even USA when it's a piece of plywood.

Yeah. I have a custom shop jackson, but the x series i got before it with upgraded parts was almost as great.

B.c. rich guitars have always been interesting to me also. Not a huge fan of some of the bodyshapes, but more and more are growing on me

I don't own an ESP, but I often look at them and get tempted. I really get annoyed when people list it as an ESP only to find out it's a LTD in the fine print...waste of time.

Happens some times with EBMM Majesty, and it's actually a Sterling.

edit: took me awhile to figure out I should look at the listed price. if it's a real ESP or E-II the price will tell me. derp.

I blame the "Fender" Squier where it seems to have all started on the craigslist clickbait titles :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I mean, I do pretty well…. But that’s just dumb lol.

I'd like an Ibanez PS1CM; but at nearly $7K for a PS 10 with the cracked mirror top, I opted for the standard PS 10 which are less than a Gibson LP Custom without the QC roll of the dice

The problem with Esp and its every guitar....there is either something goofy with the hardware choice or finish color.
They'll make a beautiful perfect V.....but it will have a pink finish or a cool color but gold hardware. Infuriating

Call me a fag or whatever, but I flippin' love pink and gold stuff on a guitar and get infuriated when teh gold hardware isn't available.
