It's nothing like an archon. The gain is fixed. Sounds too fizzy/mushy. But, even though not big into plug in scene... it was cheap enough to mess with for second. Theres a certain smeared texture that seems to be part of the fixed gain part of it. Not a big fan of plug ins and this one didn't change my mind.
