I'd like to be informed about where I can buy a brand new Diezel Herbert (MKII) and also a new matching 4x12 Diezel cab.

Could you guys tell me how much this would cost?

The amp and cab can be shipped to Tucson, AZ.

Thanks!

I've also seen some of your posts on the Shamray forum. I'm sure I'll love my Diezel amp

I already got a very nice and informative e-mail from Peter Stapfer. But I'm stuck because I must choose a cab and speaker combination...

Still thinking about this. I would like to achieve a very versatile sound with my Herbert to cover out my progressive rock needs. Nice cleans, crunchy riffs, brutal riffs, liquid smooth leads. I'd use the Herbert for live and studio applications.

Suggestions are very welcome :)

I wish I could give a suggestion, but I'm in the same boat as you mate. It's nice to know of another shamray owner though, I had one made in 2005/2006, CS-0071.

What did you have made?

It's nice to meet another Shamray owner. What a lovely instrument you have there ;)

I currently own CSV-0001, but I'm selling it right now to fund my 3rd Shamray guitar (a very ambitious project underway).

You can watch the auction here: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :MESELX:IT

I owned CS-1956 (a Randy Rhoads prototype replica).

All of my Shamray instruments have been beyond great! The problem is that if I want a new one, I have to sell my current guitar in order to advance.

Yesterday I got this response from Peter Stapfer.

Hi Octavio,

I would recommend the 4X12" Frontloaded with G12K100 Celestion speakers.
It delivers a very nice, crystal clear clean tone as well as a tight bottom end and
a very balanced mid range especially for low tunings.

The Herbert will be MKII. We do have 2 MK1 Herberts available on stock. Yet, it is your choice.

With best regards

Peter

I'll follow his recommendation.

I got mine from Make n'Music in Chicago, good experience for a purchase over the phone. There are locations in Cali to maybe decrease shipping cost. Definitely call around (see list below) as the sales price and shipping cost vary.

Thanks a lot Docster for the info!

The shipping costs that Stapfer gave me were a bit high. I'll make sure to check out the dealers you provided

It looks like it is cheaper to get Diezel products directly from Germany than from the USA dealers
