I loved my bsb jem until my dog ruined it. It inspired my mtm frankenbuild.

ok...I gotta know....how did your dog ruin your BSB Jem?

My wife locked him in my den when he was a puppy, and he chewed it.

The only 3 I have left....

I would have loved (and still would) to have a BFP. Right now I have a 7VSBL and an original '88 JEM77FP. I'm probably going to sell the 7VSBL -- keep eyes on the classifieds.

Probably one of the few signature guitars that I would actually want to buy! Love JEM's!

I've tried to buy a BSB on multiple occasions, and heavily considered a regular gold/white one too...but I decided that I'll buy one later when I have some cash for a "fun guitar".

I had one of the black, textured ones... One of the best sounding/playing guitars I've ever owned... Totally made me love the Breed pups. I just couldn't get past the fake Phillips head screw inlays. It totally cheapened the guitar for me. I miss that guitar.

I sold the 777DVY,

Never should of sold that one.

I learned my lesson and kept my Universe`s. These ain`t going nowhere.

By the way Metlupass2,that JEM7PBK is (Was) the shit, of all of the ones you had, that would be my #1, awesome jem.

i have a bsb. i love it. it's currently dissasembled right now but will be back up and running shortly.

You assholes, I'm trying like a mother to show some restraint and NOT buy another JEM. My wife appreciates that. But you guys aren't helping the matter. A couple years ago I gave my Jem to my 12 year old nephew who absolutely rips on guitar. And I admit, it's the only guitar I sometimes miss.

Do they still hold that JemFest each year? I was at JemFest X and there were some very nice Jems, as well as other Ibanez, there.

Nice pics here...makes me a bit jealous.

Here's a pic of two of my three JEMs (I also have JEM7DBK) and my limited edition Rock Inn J Customs. Ibanez are some of the smoothest playing guitars around, especially the high end offereings. Jerome, go get yourself another JEM already.

Wow--formidable collection of 770DX's as well--I think that's on of the only DXVM's other than mine I've seen. Got me a '91 DXLB as well. Never was much for the Ruby Red...

The LNG was sold last summer but the BFP remains as the best sounding Jem that I've ever come across...much ballsier than any of the others that I've owned/played (and completely stock with the exception of an FU brass block).

I built this one myself for my son from a Perle swirled body and a PGM neck with a Super 3 (b) and Evolution (n). Its a great sounding and playing guitar but this was one or Perle's earlier bodies and leaves a bit to be desired from a fit and finish standpoint (neck pocket needed to be re-routed and he mistakenly routed for a middle single and filled it in rather than cut a new body. He never mentioned it either...by the time I noticed it, my son already hooked on the swirl and decided to keep it). Still an awesome player though.

I had the original 1990 Floral Pattern back in the day. It was definitely something that I regretted selling. That guitar was great, and oozes personality.
Great pics, guys
