ie4 mods? can i do the EG3/4x mod to this preamp?

I have an early 90's ie4 preamp. I was wondering if i can i do the EG3/4x mod to this preamp? Can anyone tell me what components and changes in value are modded for the EG3/4x mod?

whoa, not that I want to mod my IE4, BUT, this hadn't even crossed my mind.

seems easy enough.
