You folks have probably heard this one a million times.

I'm a metal head and was wondering which one of the three products will do me the best justice, a VH4, a Herbert, or an Einstein. to give an Idea of the desired range of sound: I listen to, Animosity, Fear Factory, Dying Fetus, Nile, Death and Lamb of God. the clean tones I like are The Cure(laugh it up) A perfect Circle and Tool. thanks much for any response I get for this.

I have had all the Diezel gear and for my tone I prefer the Herbert but they all sound great.

Herbert = Versatile, Saturated, Wicked High Gain, Great Clean Channel, Ton of Power, Cool mid cut feature.
VH4= Good clean, awesome channel 2 crunch channel, Great mid and high gain tones but not really saturated.
Einstein= Gets pretty heavy and good clean channell, Cool amp but not quite in the same league tone wise as the other two.

YMMV

BTW here is a clip of my recently completed Herbert rig so you can hear the sounds we were getting out of it.

I agree...both the Herbert & the VH4 together would be Tits Magee...but if you can only pick one...go with the Herbert...IMO. May be a lil more versatile for your styles. :D Good luck!
