MURDERATOR
My new vh4 continues to amaze me daily. I still need to dial in my cleans(cant make up my mind between clean or a little grit) , but every other channel is just amazing. Thank you Peter!! It was worth the money. The only drawback now is I'm using my cheap Jackson DK2 and my gflex 2X12. The guitars fine for what it is, but the cab is not the best choice for this amp. Now, what rack effects units are you guys using with your diezels? I want to get away from pedals and go rack. My main pdeals are a digitech multichorus and digidelay. To harsh and processed sounding with the vh4. Didnt notice it as much with my roadking, but now I do with the vh4.

I've used a Rocktron Xpression and a TC G-Sharp with my Herbert. Both seemed to work quite well.

I've also run my TC Nova Delay pedal through the Herbert with good results as well. I tried a Visual Sounds H2O through it once and hated that.

i found a gmajor and gminor for 199, so it looks like that's what I'm rolling with for now.

I'm sure that will be great. Nice price too. You may want to sell the g-minor though and get a midi board where you don't have to scroll through all your patches. Like a Rocktron midi mate, a ground control or a Diezel Columbus.

I'm pairing mine with a Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra - it's a lot more expensive than a G-Major or something like that, but looks to be an incredible unit. Hopefully mine comes in soon... It is fully routable too, so I'm going to be able to have both pre and post effects as well as use the amp modelling (which is the best ever done I think) into the VH4's poweramp if I want any different sounds that the VH4 can't get.
