I was a week in Berlin three years ago. Stayed at the Park Inn, Alexanderplatz. Awesome city, and I found this great little italian place with the best Pizza I've ever had :D

Never got around visiting any music stores, though...

Find Kilkenny's Pub close to Charlie. Lost a day of my life there when I ran into the Machine Head sound crew......

:cheers2:

Forget about Berlin Joey! Munich is much more favorable with regard to culture, architecture, food, beer, nature, chicks, everything  No coincidence that our brilliant amp maker is from Bayern.

can you guys recommend me a good instrument store in Berlin? I'd like to visit one tomorrow. :)

Munich sounds great but I have no time to go :(

Well, if you had listen to me ;)

... I would show you Cologne's Musicstore

You would be definitly blown away by Rectifier No # 0001

Not for sale Bato ... but really worth trying

Curious as to how did you end up with Recto #1? That's awesome.

I agree. Recto #1 is awesome. That is the holy grail of rectos right there.

Joey, you need to post some pics while you tour the music shops over there.

Hey Joey, long time no hear? Did you get beaten up by some German skinheads or did you finally visit one of the music stores in Berlin?

hey man, thanks for asking. Berlin was fenomenal! I was with my girlfriend and the trip was only 5 days, so no music store shopping/visiting for me.

But that city rocks, the food is incredible and I found it pretty cheap compared to Barcelona which was a HUGE plus for us.

I can't wait to go back to Germany and this time visit Munich, go down there and visit papa and Olaf.

10/10 trip!

Nice to hear that you enjoyed your trip. Didn`t like Berlin that much the time i visited it, also due to the fact that some ass scratched some not so nice words in my car. But as i said if you liked Berlin you will love Munich. If you think Barcelona is expensive i have to warn you! Don`t ever visit Oslo. It`s the ultimate rip off. I don`t know what you pay for 3dl beer at an average in Oslo but in Tromsø you pay about 9 Euro for 03,l. :gethim: :gethim: and Oslo is even more expensive.

9 euro a bear!?!?! goddamn!!

I had like 20 beers in Berlin, I'm in love with Becks Green Lemon!

Must say that we payed pretty much the same for a beer in a hotel in Barcelona a year ago ...was a very fancy one, though .. can't remember the name ...and it was business trip :)
50 cents/1 Euro per 0.5 liters - that's the price around here ...

I must say that I'd rather prefer a Beer Price Index than the McDonalds one they some times are using in publications ....

I have great memories from Berlin - haven't been there for the last 15 years so I have to refresh these...
