Just got the word my Marcus is shipping on Tuesday.

I opted for 100 watts. When he reaches around the back he’s switching from MKIII mode to IIC+ mode.

Instead of Push/Pull knobs he uses toggle switches.

Here’s a guy shot of one of the amps. It’s either mine or Jarrod from Tone Wars. We both ordered.

sounds pretty mean Jer, will be looking forward to your thoughts! I would have went 100 too, I have some kind of mental hangup, I always prefer the 100W versions for some reason. Unpractical as it is.
 
I can’t get the video to play. Just redirects to Imgur and does nothing.

Congrats though! I’m sure it will be great. Looks east to maintain too.

Yeah more headroom is more headroom. I wanted to make sure the cleans stayed super clean. It may net be a 1:1 but I’ve listened to a ton of his Marcus clips and they definitely have the Mark vibe happening. For me it’s close enough, especially for the cost of admission.

Dude the 50 watt is only $660 shipped I believe. I feel like it’s a no brainer.

I’m taking it to a very well respected amp builder to look it over and give me a “what’s what” on the overall build relative to cost.

Keep in mind, I think he’s only like 60 km from where the bulk of the fighting has happened.

for sure man. After owning many ENGL, Peavey, and a Framus, those guts don't look bad to me. :LOL:
At least everything is chassis mounted. :dunno:

Absolutely dude! I want one real bad but have no money in the budget. The wife and two little ones are keeping me strapped. Maybe one day though!

But I just listened to the “iron forge” and holy hell ! I gotta grab one of these two.
 
Where would one order a CRAB amp? I can’t find a link to buy one.

Oh man I’ve been there for sure. My kids are 22 and 25 now so SOME of my money is finally my own! Lol!

Never played one of the HF builds and don't doubt they're incredible, but if ya wanna experience a Wizard...get a Wizard IMHO. Yes the Mercury Mag trannies are part of the magic, but its the sum of all the parts. I have Wiz# 15 coming...I keep coming back, they're that good...LOL!
