Incoming amp - Folkesson Modded Marshall JMP 50 MKII

After watching Ola's video trying that old modded Marshall, I looked up this Swedish Tommy Folkesson guy and decided to pull the trigger on a JMP 50 watts he had for sale. I have no idea what the amp sounds like but he told me the amp has the same amount of gain Ola's modded Marshall has. It doesn't have his MKVII 4 channel mod but his 'eternal mod' + the gain switch and the send / effects loop of course. I can't wait to have it here!
Fun fact - If I am not mistaken, Tommy was Hermansson's mentor

Seriously, this is prolly the best voiced modded Marshall for that super metal punishing midrange..
Metal like a modded Marshall with MK2+++ mid grindage.
Regarding the Swedes.. they make the best blades in the world man.
 
Here's some more info about the amp from Tommy

"It has one of my own specialities. the gain control is a double working gain,
so it affects two stages at the same time. that means the gain boost double as fast,
compared to a standard gain control. It also means that you can use it from completely clean,
over crunch and up to high gain. A third advantage is that it changes the filters so from a rather
flat response at low settings it boosts the midrange more when you turn it up and therefore the bottom
remains tight and short at higain setting.

Thx man! - Sure, he offers several mods and if I am not mistaken he has a 4 channel modded 72 Marshall for sale

Thx a lot! Nice to hear that as I have yet to play a modded Marshall let alone modded by the man himself!
 
I think at one point Hermasson was brokering the mods but the stipulation was that the amp to be modded had to be sourced in Europe and shipped to the USA, no shipping amps over to be worked on.
