Inexpensive alternative for rack power amp

I bought a mint vintage 50w Altec handwired power amp ( one of the old green ones) for $50.00 on Ebay

It works fantastic and sounds great. I have used them for various audio applications and they are very warm
yet full freq spectrum, full bodied with a very pleasant top end.

I know there is the whole tube power section dynamics but for a inexpensive alternative to get your egnater rack started
its the way to go. Especially for the harder metal guys.

you seriously wont be disappointed.

Anyone with similar experience?

Sounds cool. Thought about it a million times. I look at those kind of amps a lot. There is a guy on there who sells old amps that he rebuilds. I think he calls them Table Beast or something(?). Got any pictures of it?
