I've never been a rack guy, but I'm thinking about picking up an Intellefex for my delays/reverbs. Can someone tell me which is the best model that they made?

Intellifex is a very cool unit. I like them a lot actually. If you are interested, I may be selling my Replifex. I think its a great unit as well.

I have a LTD as well that I just bought used for $150. It's a very cool unit.
Easy to program and quite nice sounding.

ranking, IMO:
1. Intelliverb
awesome unit
2. Original Blackface awesome and CHEAP!
3. Intellifex XL fucking RARE
4. Intellifex LTD should be about as good as the blackface
5. Intellifex Online most of these are assembled in Korea, which hurts resale.

I own the original Blackface and the new Xpression, Kage has the LTD and Harry has the Online lol!! To be honest with you, I think the blackface being the best is pure Internet Hype. Its due greatly to the motorola chips that are in the unit and to be honest with you, when I compared the Online to the Original, I think the Online sounds better. I gave Harry free reign to a/b his Online with the original and he can pick and choose which one he wants.(id keep the extra one for a backup rig) So far, he keeps comming back to the online. Ive programmed Kages LTD and I would bet that anyone in a room could not tell between the LTD and the original.
Now here is the kicker.... I actually like the Xpression the best but the bang for the buck goes to the older units. They pretty much piss on every effects box that Ive used that came out in that period in time including my secret weapon... the Boss Se-50. The boss was great but the chorus can not compete with the intellifex...... with that said, The boss kills the intellifex when it comes to pitch shifting.... The pitch shifting sucks ass in all of the Rocktrons and it should have been left out IMHO.
all in all you could not go wrong with any version IMHO. They really are great units that are cheap and switch on the fly!!

Harry Paid $155 for his but we got banged out $27 shipping because I was slow on the draw and he douched me on the shipping
I actually got the new Xpression for $225 shipped.

I got my Intellifex Online for $140 shipped with a 4u rack case. I got my Multivalve for like $190 or $200 shipped (I forget). Rocktron makes amazing units for the price.
