Saw Iron Maiden last night and was freaking awesome!! They did not do the typical hit factory and surprisingly, blew my mind. High energy and the songs all worked awesome together.

I've seen em twice, once this tour once the Legacy of the Beast.

I don't go mega deep with them so I didn't appreciate this set as much as a diehard would, but it was fucking cool regardless. Still, when they did play the classics the pit went absolutely bananas, which is how it was the entire Legacy of the Beast tour. So I hope their next tour is more of a greatest hits thing. I love that they shake it up though!

I don't know if you are kidding or have an "Eddie" tattoo.....

i really never have, the few songs on the radio they play never grabbed me in any way, i somehow never knew anyone that was really into them where i would hear them just by chance, i really honestly couldnt even name one of their albums. it sounds kind of crazy to me even saying that now thinking about how big the are

Seen them many times, most notable was Radio City Music Hall for the Powerslave tour.
Man...I can only imagine how great an experience and show that was there - they played four or five nights there, didn't they? That tour was my first seeing Iron Maiden and WASP opened on their stop in Houston. Saw them up through the Seventh Son tour and would love to see them once more.

Saw them in Melbourne recently. They were so good. Suprised me how tight and well they played. No phoning it in. Bruce running around like a madman. Same age as my Dad. No way I could imagine him running around like that.

Same set list I think. Song choice surprised me. Was cool hearing some of those love that I didn’t expect. Like Wasted Years. Only downside is they didn’t bring the full props and stage show. Guess bringing to Australia would be cost prohibitive.

My 1st 2 Maiden shows were with Blaze. Fuckin tough times
Redeemed myself with Ed Hunter in '99 when Bruce and Adrian returned. Now that was a setlist. On acid no less 😂
Saw them many times after.
Also got to go onstage for Heaven can Wait in '08

That's a great set list. Love that they are not just rocking the usual suspects. From what I have seen, Bruce sounds great this tour but Nicko might be slipping. He's started simplifying his parts but the end product is still excellent. Did you notice that at all?

No I get it. There are some bands I just missed the train on so to speak. I was never into Judas Priest until I was in the military. Weird I never got into them in high school.
